About

I'm Elis, an illustrator in Izmir, Turkey, working with clients around the world. I've drawn for as long as I can remember, and professionally for over five years, in traditional media and digital. I've also worked as a sketch card artist on licensed sets. I lean toward fantasy, gloomy and whimsical alike, but I'm just as glad to let a character's personality choose the palette and set the mood.

Studying English and Comparative Literature taught me to step inside a character's head and to read a landscape for what it's hiding. I read the story first, and I keep the process calm and reliable. Book covers, tarot decks, and tabletop art are personal projects I'm proud of and a portfolio I'm building, and I'm open to commissions in all three.
